PALTECH (“PALTECH,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a field-service operations platform — site surveys, work-order dispatch, and a technician network — through our website at paltechz.com and our application at app.paltechz.com (together, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account and profile: name, email address, phone number, employer or company, job title, technician qualifications and credentials, and profile photo.
• Operational data: customers, sites, buildings, work orders, schedules, and the surveys you create or complete — including port maps, Wi-Fi and cellular measurements, equipment inventories, photos, attachments, and notes.
• Payment and payout details: amounts, invoices, and the information needed to pay or be paid through our payment processors. We do not store full payment-card numbers.
• Communications: messages, inquiries, and support requests you send us.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, app version, pages viewed, and actions taken.
• Location data: when you use location-enabled features (such as GPS check-in or on-site surveys), we collect device location. On mobile, you control this through your device permissions.
• Cookies and similar technologies: used to keep you signed in and to operate the Services. See “Cookies” below.

Information from third parties

• Sign-in providers: when you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive basic profile information (such as your name and email) to create or access your account.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and operate the Services; create and manage accounts and authentication; match work orders with technicians and coordinate dispatch; generate surveys, reports, and deliverables; process payments and payouts; communicate with you; provide support; maintain security and prevent fraud; comply with legal obligations; and improve the Services.

3. How we share information

PALTECH is a two-sided platform connecting companies that need field work with technicians who perform it. To make this work, we share information as follows:

• Between platform participants: a company and an assigned technician can see the information necessary to coordinate and complete a job (such as site details, schedules, surveys, and relevant contact information).
• Service providers: we use vendors to host and operate the Services (for example, Google Cloud / Firebase), to send email, process payments, and provide analytics. They may process information only on our behalf.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of PALTECH, our users, or others.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Services, and limited cookies to remember preferences. You can control cookies through your browser, but disabling them may affect functionality.

5. Data retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, then retain and use it as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Deleted records may persist for a limited period in backups.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update much of your profile in the app, and you can contact us at hello@paltechz.com to exercise these rights. We will respond consistent with applicable law, including the GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA where they apply.

8. International transfers

We operate primarily in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

9. Children

The Services are intended for businesses and their personnel and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
